PAL Hire launches UK portal for equipment and tool rental

PAL Hire, which specialises in tool, plant and equipment hire, has launched a new website which it hopes will be a one-stop shop for events, tradespeople and the domestic market. Customers can access over 2,000 items from the online hire store, including skips, fences, portable toilets and a range of other equipment for events, demolition and renovation. Items are available UK wide.

One useful innovation is the inclusion of instructional videos for products, which help the shopper choose the right piece of kit for the job in hand. The company said its aim was “to make hire equipment easy to understand, as well as easy to hire – this accessibility means that people who have never hired a drill or a forklift before can do so without being intimidated by jargon and industry terms.”

PAL Hire began life in 2003 with the world’s first website dedicated to skip hire, Topskips.com, and now boasts an impressive portfolio of clients that includes the BBC, Network Rail, the Glastonbury Festival and construction services giant Carillion.

“We see PAL Hire as a family, and we believe in committing a lot of energy and focus on our service levels,” said Mark Attwood, the company’s founder. “Our core values influence every part of our daily lives and reflect in the way we do business. We aim to be extraordinary and to wow our customers by the lengths we go to ensure their happiness and satisfaction.”
