July 19, 2011 - Last week we released our new ‘Upload an Item’ form, so you can easily keep your listings up to date and effortlessly upload new items.
We have completely revised the ‘Upload an item’ form to make it as user friendly and straight forward as possible. We have also added a few clever little features to help you upload or update your items in an instant.
Here are a few highlights:
1. All on one page! No more skipping between pages to change categories. As long as you have filled out the required fields, you can save a partial upload with just one click.
2. Visitors often narrow down their search by selecting features they want their hire item to have. What features do your products have? You can set these quite simply in the properties section, now conveniently placed in the product description area.
3. Hints and tips along the way ensure you don’t forget any important details.
4. Are your items available in more than one location? Then select all of your locations in one go! No more selecting individual checkboxes; just select all your locations together and add them to your item. Quick and easy!
5. Present your items with more detail to appeal customer’s specific requirements. You may already use our PDF feature to attach technical details or manuals, but now make them stand out! Give your PDF a clear and noticeable label so your customers can find that specific information at a glance.
6. And to finish, enjoy an instant preview of your full item listing once you hit ‘save and preview’.
