September 8, 2009 - HSS Hire has been named Plant Hire Company of the Year in Contract Journal’s Hard Hat awards.
This is the second prestigious business award of 2009 for the Manchester-based tool and equipment hire company, which picked up the Tool, Equipment and Plant Hire Company of the Year prize at the Hire Awards of Excellence in May. It helps to cement HSS Hire’s reputation as one of the UK’s leading hire companies in its sector.
Independently judged by auditors Grant Thornton, the Hard Hat awards celebrate management skill and business performance within the plant hire and construction industry. Chris Davies, HSS chief executive, said the company had been a champion for transparency and integrity within the hire industry. “I am delighted that we have been so publicly recognised for our efforts,” he added.
Established in West London in 1957, HSS Hire now has 250 outlets across the UK. It specialises in a wide range of tools and equipment, including Air Conditioner hire , Electric Heater hire , Access Platform hire and Skip hire .
